New Afrikan Men are missing at high rates which isn't reflected in the news coverage of mainstream media.
The rapid loss of protection from internal and external threats due to our inability to provide our own protection to our children, women, men and elders of our communities is the impetus behind the Assata Alert Network. As a result, AAN has made it their mission to construct a secured environment that is dependent on its own community members to protect and defend our children, women, men and elders.

jonathon fayiah bandabaila
Jonathon has been missing since May 3rd, 2019, in Oakland, California. His date of birth is October 19th,1999 and would now be 23 years old. At the time of his disappearance, he was 19 years old, 5'7 and 175 pounds. He was wearing a grey athletic jumpsuit. Jonathon has black hair and brown eyes. On the day of his disappearance, he was on his way to a soccer tournament in Oakland, California. He was driving his car that he had just recently purchased at the time, a silver two-door 1999 Honda Civic. His car was found on May 4th at the San Mateo Bridge, there was no in or around the car. His family denied all theories and claims that he jumped from the bridge; stated he was in good mental & physical condition. There was a search of the water, but no one was found. Since his disappearance, his bank accounts etc. have not been accessed. The circumstances of his disappearance are unclear, and the family is still searching for answers of his whereabouts.
Kadin Black
Kadin has been missing since December 12th, 2022, in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. At the time of his disappearance, he was 19 years old. Kadin weighs 160 pounds and is 5'10. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. Kadin had vanished from home sometime between that late Saturday and early Sunday morning. His phone last pinged on or near Old Windsor Rd.
Javeoni J. buford
Jaevoni was last seen on November 17th, 2021 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He walked away from his home that day and hasn't been heard from or seen since. He was 24 years old when he went missing and would now be 25 years old. Jaevoni has black shoulder length locs and brown eyes. He may have cut his hair since his disappearance. He has a tattoo of a rose on his forearm with the abbreviation "FOE" meaning "Family Over Everything".
Keishaun Tremaine Watkins Sellers
Keishaun has been missing since October 28th, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. He is 23 years old, 5'6 and weighs 145 pounds. He has Black hair and Brown eyes. Keishaun was last seen at OSU Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on that day. He was wearing a purple hospital gown and there is concern for his safety/whereabouts.
Joseph Gilmore
Joseph has been missing since October 23rd, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee. He's 38 years old, 5'9 and weighs 180 pounds. He has Black hair and Brown eyes. Joseph's mother stated that he left home and she has not heard from him or seen him since then. There isn't any more information at this time regarding Joseph's disappearance at this time.
Moses Coward
Moses has been missing since October 14th, 2023 in Clifton, New Jersey. He is 42 years old, 5'9 and weighs 181 pounds. He has Black hair and Brown eyes. On the day of his disappearance, Moses walked out of his home and did not return. He has no cell phone but has been seen in the area of Broadway Junction in Brooklyn, NY, as recent as 10/22/23. He has also made transactions at convenience stores and fast-food spots in New York City as recent as 11/22/23. Moses was last seen wearing Red Hooded Sweatshirt, Black sweatpants & Tan boots.
Thomas Dwayne White Jr
Thomas has been missing since November 7th, 2023 in Toledo, Ohio. He is 33 years old, 5'5-5'6 and weighs 185-200 pounds. Thomas may also go by the name of Veridis Quo. He has Black hair and Brown eyes with a chest tattoo that says "Veridis Quo". At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing Black Shirt, Black Pants, Doc Marten Boots and a Blue Teflar Bag. Thomas was last seen in the 2400 block of Franklin Ave after being dropped off at his apartment after attending a house party. The friend who dropped him off did not see whether Thomas entered their building.
Ronald Grady Stone
Ronald has been missing since September 26th, 2023 in New York, New York. He is 42 years old, 6'1 and weighs 150 pounds. He has Black hair, a little bit of balding with a full Black beard and Brown eyes. He has a tattoo on the back of his neck and a teardrop under one of his eyes. There is no other information at this time.
mario m. douglas
Mario has been missing since November 24th, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. He went missing when he was 29 years old and would now be 30. He is 5'7-5'8 and weighs around 160-170 pounds. He has Black hair and Brown eyes. Mario has a couple tattoos as well: Upper back "Douglas", Upper arm- Red Cardinal, Upper back- Aires Ram (animal) and his left ear is pierced. On 11/23/2022 around 8pm Mario Douglas went to the Waterfront Park area in downtown Louisville with his brother. After midnight on 11/24/2022 Mario and his brother went different directions, and his brother returned to their home in New Albany, Indiana. Mario hasn't been seen or heard from since this time.
malik lassiter
Malik has been missing since May 11th, 2023 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He went missing when he was 24 years old and would be 25 now. Malik is between 5'11-6'2 and weighs around 165-175 pounds. Malik has Black shoulder length locs and Brown eyes. He also has a Spider tattoo on his lower neck. Last time someone had contact with him contact 5:48 pm on 5/11/2023. Malik's red Kia Optima was seen on video surveillance at Huck's at 5:53 pm. His family requested a welfare check at his place of residence at 6002 Russellville Rd. Bowling Green, KY after he failed to show up to work 5/11/2023 in Nashville, TN. Lassiter's vehicle was recovered early morning of 5/12/2023 in Columbus, OH.
Namrud Wegahta Tessema
Namrud has been missing since October 22nd, 2023 in Mercer, Wisconsin. He is 46 years old, 5'10 and weighs 150 pounds. He has partially grey hair, a white beard and brown eyes. Namrud has a tattoo on his left hand. He was last seen on foot near a wooded area near the Maple Grove Mobile Home Park in Mercer, WI on October 22, 2023. Namrud left behind his vehicle and personal items. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored flannel and was not wearing shoes.
Murad Sufiyan Mussa
Murad has been missing since December 26th, 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is 35 years old, 6'0-6'2 and weighs 200-250 pounds. He has Black hair and eyes. Murad was last seen leaving his mother's residence on the 2500 block of S 9th St. He was last seen wearing Black leather jacket, cream-colored sweatpants, a black T-shirt with logos on the front/back and Black/Blue Nike tennis shoes.
