New Afrikan Women are missing at high rates which isn't reflected in the news coverage of mainstream media.

The rapid loss of protection from internal and external threats due to our inability to provide our own protection to our children, women, men and elders of our communities is the impetus behind the Assata Alert Network. As a result, AAN has made it their mission to construct a secured environment that is dependent on its own community members to protect and defend our children, women, and elders.

Latoya Natasha Thomas

Latoya has been missing since September 30th, 2000 in Hayword, California. She was born October 2nd, 1975 and would be 47 years old now. At the time, Latoya was 5'2, 135 pounds. She has a small scar on the left side of her nose with black hair and brown eyes. Latoya was last seen doing laundry at the Riverside Terrace apartment complex in the 1700 block of B Street in Hayward. She was never heard from again. Her car was found on October 5th, 2000, five days after her disappearance. Her purse and phone were found at the scene. Foul Play is suspected in her disappearance.

Barbara Jean Dreher

Barbara has been missing since August 12th, 1984 in Washington D.C. At the time, she was 39 years old, 5'2 and 130 pounds. Barbara was last seen wearing a green shirt and white slacks. She had black hair and brown eyes. Dreher is the Mother of 5 children and she was dropping two of her youngest sons off to her Eldest daughter. She was planning on going to pick up some money and returning shortly afterword's. Barbara was last seen driving a burgundy 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and was never seen or heard from again. A few days after she went missing, a relative saw a man driving her car. He denied driving her car and denied knowing her. Since the car was not reported stolen, he was not taken into custody. A ski mask, gloves and rope were found in the car and the man was arrested 6 months later for abducting and raping a woman (charges were dismissed) and had charges of the same stature when he was 18, including murdering 2 people. Alot of evidence associated with Barbara's case has went missing and she still missing to this date. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Madelyn pitts

Madelyn is 27 years old and has been missing since April 24th, 2023 in Woodbridge, Virginia leaving her home. She is 5'6 and 110 pounds. Madelyn has black hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses, has a nose piercing and was last seen wearing dark blue scrub pants, black hooded coat and black Ugg's. Her family is concerned for her well-being.

laronda marie Bronson

Laronda has been missing since November 19th, 1982, in Portland, Oregon. Her date of birth is September 9th, 1964, and would now be 58 years old. At the time, her height was between 5'7-5'8 and her weight between 110-120 pounds. Laronda has black hair and brown eyes. Goes by the nickname of Bird. She has scars on the back of her neck and on her chin. She may also use the alias name such as Michelle Marie Hall or alias date of birth such as July 29, 1964. Laronda was last seen standing at a bus stop in Portland and has never been heard or seen from again. Laronda has had a history of prostitution and that could play a huge role in her disappearance.

Victoria williams

Victoria has been missing since October 19th, 2013 in Newark, New Jersey. She left her home to meet some friends and never returned. Her date of birth is November 13th, 1999. At the time, she was 13 years old and is now 23 years old. Victoria was 5'6 and weighed 133 pounds. Victoria was last seen wearing a blue orthopedic boot, a black shirt pink pants or a blue denim long-sleeved shirt, a gray short sleeved shirt and blue jeans. She had blond hair extensions at the time of her appearance. She has eczema, a skin condition on her arms and legs. Victoria may still be in the local area or traveled to San Diego or elsewhere in California. There is very little details about her disappearance.

Celina has been missing since December 16th, 1996 in Willingboro, New Jersey. She has been missing since she was 12 years old. Her date of birth is May 28th, 1984 and would now be 39 years old. At the time, her height was 5'0 and 120 pounds. She was last seen possibly wearing a red coat. Celina was pregnant at the time of her disappearance and was due to have the baby around December 29th of that year. Celina is Biracial (Afrikan Amerikan/Caucasian) with black hair and brown eyes. Her hair was very long and wavy at the time of her disappearance. Celina was last seen around 11:00 pm the night before at her home. Her father checked her bedroom the next day and saw she was not in her bed and that there were pillows placed in the bed as if she was still sleeping. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

tomiene mary jones

Tomiene has been missing since April 18th, 2002 in Harrison Township, New Jersey. She was 19 years old at the time of her disappearance and she would now be 40 years old. Her date of birth is December 26th, 1982. Tomiene was 5'4-5'6 and 135 pounds. She was wearing a red, white and orange off the shoulder printed dress. Tomiene has black hair and brown eyes with a burn scar on her left thigh. She was last heard from at 1:00 a.m. on the day of her disappearing from a phone conversation at her apartment. Her brother went to check on her the following day and her apartment door was open with her no where to be found. Her keys, phone and her daughter was left abandoned in the home. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Ange Irandukunda

Ange has been missing since December 15th, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has been missing since she was 21 years old and would now be 26. Ange is 5'6 or 5'7 and weighs around 120-150 pounds. Her eyes are brown and hair is black; she usually has her hair worn up, natural and pinned. She had a sewing machine with her when she last seen. There isn't much more information regarding her disappearance at this time.

Cynkara J Richardson

Cynkara has been missing since October 25th, 2023 in Peoria, Illinois. She is 27 years old, 5'6 and weighs 250 pounds. Her hair and eye color are both brown. There is not much more information of the disappearance of Cynkara at this time.

Charkendra Ervon Yates

Charkendra has been missing since October 24th, 2023 in West Memphis, Arkansas. She is 33 years old, 5'3-5'5 and weighs 110-120 pounds. She has Black hair and Brown eyes. There is not much more information at this time concerning Charkendra's disappearance.

Felicia Mae Rush

Felicia has been missing since October 8th, 2023 in West Memphis, Arkansas. She is 33 years old, 5'2-5'5 and weighs 190-200 pounds. She has Black hair and Brown eyes. She had on a Blue Hoodie, Gray Pants and white and Grey shoes. Felicia was last seen on October 8, 2023 taking her son and leaving in a silver Pontiac Grand Am with unknown Tennessee tags.

Deundrea Lakelsia Ford

Deundrea has been missing since September 22nd, 2023 in Houston, Texas. She is 22 years old, 5'4 and weighs 170 pounds. She has Black hair and Brown eyes. There is no other information at this time, regarding Deundrea's disappearance.

Tiffany has been missing since January 26th, 2006 in Henderson, Kentucky. She went missing when she was 28 years old and would now be 46. She is 5'4 and weighs 140 pounds. Tiffany has Black hair and Brown eyes. She wears contact lenses or glasses. Her hearing is also impaired & suffers from clinical depression. Phelps was last seen at the corner of Center and Ingram Streets in Henderson, Kentucky on January 26, 2006. She has never been heard from again.

Hayley has been missing since August 18th, 2018 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Hayley went missing when she was 16 years old and would now be 21. She has Red/Auburn hair and Brown eyes. She is mixed (New Afrikan/Caucasian), 5'2 and weighs 120 pounds. She may be in the company of an woman that is a relative.

Melody G Freeman

Melody has been missing since January 8th, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is 43 years old, 5'7 and weighs 115 pounds. Melody has Black short hair, has Brown almost almond shaped eyes. She has a tattoo on lower back referencing name and possibly musical notes. Melody was last seen wearing a black three-quarter length coat, blue pants and black beanie.

SHAMARI D BRANTLEY

Shamari has been missing since January 4th, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. She is 22 years old, 5'1 and weighs 140 pounds. She has Black hair and Brown eyes. She also has a tattoo on her right forearm. At 1:00 pm that day, Shamari was dropped off at the Museum of Ice Cream located at 435 N Michigan Ave Chicago, IL 60611. She did not return home that evening & did not have a cellphone on her person. Shamari did have an Apple I-Pad in her backpack when she was dropped off in Chicago. She has gone missing in the past where she was located in the State of California and New York. Shamari was last seen wearing red UGG boots, gray track suit (sweatshirt/pants), gray/white Michael Kors backpack, light colored denim jean jacket as well as a cream-colored sweatshirt.

Melody Mhlanga

Melody has been missing since December 24th, 2023 in McKinney, Texas. She is 41 years old, 5'6-5'7 and weighs 140-150 pounds. She has a Black 1 1/2' - 2 1/2' Afro & Black eyes. Melody was last seen wearing Navy colored jeans, blue jacket with fur collar, white and black backpack. There is no further information at this time regarding Melody's disappearance.
